Last open discussion about COMMUNICATING IDEAS...
Last night we had a very optimistic and friendly discussion on how to communicate ideas clearly, concretely, completely, correctly, courteously, coherently,.. I felt very open and vigorous to share my final thoughts and reflection on learning and connecting across the 3 modules of MAPP. That was also my last online discussion in this term and for this Master, and I felt somehow emotional. I am feeling content and very privileged that I could be part of this learning process and how much I learnt during past year and found myself in it, my identity. I am feeling proud of myself and my willingness to learn something new and get out from the comfort zone, which is always the hardest part in receiving a new information. I thank to my supervisor Helen for always encouraging words and her precious knowledge about movement philosophy but Angela too for bringing ideas from another angle and artistic point of view.
Like I mentioned last night, there is NO right way, no wrong, no only one way to share the knowledge, communicate ideas. There is NO perfect, time, environment, whether right way to teach or learn. There is only a lack of preparation and awareness. Transferring information is always challenging and this gives more space for creative brain and spontaneity to react. The fact is that every situation will be different from another and as creative people need to find best approach, tools how to share. It is important not to be obsessed with fixing things, or controlling it, rather find a way how's everyone will be served in a best way. Giving phenomenological accent to the communicating ideas gives many possibilities for giving and receiving. According to great Danish philosopher Kierkegaar, we need to find a stimulating angle for exchanging, evaluating, engaging, collaborating, going deeper into the practice, back to the roots, articulating, anticipating, collecting, reconnecting, finding balance, stepping back to see what is important in our practice, accepting, being curious always, bringing order in disorder, never look linear, bringing change in the process, bringing, trust, honesty, respect, positive energy...
show must go on...and have a great start of the week:)
